In addition, this engine has the ability to go from 0 to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds or less. For those who decide on the R/T trim, Dodge is providing you with its first-ever hybrid engine, which uses a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder as a base engine and then adds a lithium-ion battery and an electric motor on the rear axle to create a solid 288 horsepower. The best thing about this engine is it has a Powershot feature which will add an extra 25 horsepower so you can blaze a trail down the highway. All-wheel-drive comes standard on both trims of the Hornet.
