Where would we be without our smartphones? From documenting every adorable thing our kids do daily to staying connected through email and texts to having the internet at our fingertips all day long. However, even though our handy phones can do just about everything, there is always a few more tricks that can make your busy days a whole lot easier. From always knowing what you need at the grocery store and how to hack a quick stand for your phone while you are in the car, here are smartphone hacks every busy mom needs to know.
- If you have a weak signal or poor internet connection, switch your phone to airplane mode for a few seconds. When you turn the phone back onto the regular mode, you'll see that your phone has a stronger connection and signal.
- Before you head to the store, snap a quick picture of your fridge and pantry. This will help you when you get to the store so that you never have to wonder "Do I already have this at home?"
- Screenshot travel directions before you leave your home. This way you can turn off the GPS and save your precious battery!
- Store you cellphone charger and your headphones in an old sunglasses case. This way you'll always have the on hand and won't lose them in your car or house.
- When you park in a parking garage, take a quick picture of the floor where you parked. This way, when you come back to your car, you'll know exactly where to find your car.
- If your kids want to watch a movie on your phone while you travel but you are worried there are going to drop your phone, put the phone in a plastic bag and attach it to the back of your seat for hands-free viewing.
- Mixing a little rubbing alcohol and water together makes a great smartphone cleaner. Put it in into a small spray bottle and toss it into your purse so you can take your personal cellphone cleaner on-the-go.
