If you opt for the R/T trim, you will enjoy 370 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque, courtesy of the famed 5.7L Hemi V8. Looking underneath the hood of the Scat Pack, you'll find the 392 cubic inch 6.4L Hemi V8 that lays down 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. Lastly, underneath the hood of the Hellcat trim levels is the legendary supercharged 6.2 L Hemi V8 which comes in two output levels. Under the hood of the Hellcat Redeye, the supercharged V8 delivers 797 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, if you opt for a jailbreak model, you'll enjoy a heart-pounding 807 horsepower. Rear-wheel drive is standard equipment for the entire lineup, while all-wheel drive is available for the SXT and GT trim levels.
What is the Dodge Last Call Lineup?
With 2023 being the last model year of the Dodge Charger's current form, Dodge wanted to make a statement and pay homage to the long-running history of the legendary muscle car. To do this, they reintroduced legendary color options, including Destroyer Grey, B5 Blue, and Plum Crazy. More excitingly, however, Dodge created Three Special Edition models, which they're calling the "Last Call" lineup. The first of the Last Call editions is the King Daytona. Based on the supercharged Hellcat Redeye trim, the King Daytona rips out 807 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque to capture the excitement of the legendary 1970s Charger Daytona. The King Daytona stands out with exclusive GoMango Orange as well as exclusive King Daytona graphics and badging inside and out. Next is the Super Bee. Using the Scat Pack trim as a base, the Super Bee is available in either B5 Blue or Plum Crazy and features exclusive graphics on the hood and rear fenders, boasting its special edition status and allowing for no mistaken identity. Lastly, the Swinger special edition throws it back to the 1970s with either Sublime Green, White Knuckle, or F8 green paint colors and exclusive retro-style Swinger graphics.
Standard and Available Features for the 2023 Charger
As was previously mentioned, the 2023 Dodge Charger comes in four well-equipped trim levels, each offering a wide range of standard and available features. Kicking off the lineup is the SXT trim. Outside the Dodge Charger SXT, you'll find LED tail lights, remote engine start, heated/power-adjustable side mirrors, remote keyless entry LED daytime running lights, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Stepping behind the wheel of the Dodge Charger SXT, you'll find a leather-wrapped tilt/telescoping steering wheel, houndstooth cloth upholstery, an 8-way power adjustable driver seat, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, a digital driver information display between analog gauges, and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. Meanwhile, the GT trim adds a rear lip spoiler, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, a functional hood scoop, performance suspension, a more aggressive front fascia, and more. The remaining trims, R/T, Scat Pack, and Hellcat Redeye, all add performance-enhancing features, including but not limited to dual heat extractors, cold air intake, electronically controlled active exhaust, Dodge performance pages, line lock, launch control, and more. Exclusive to the Hellcat Redeye are features to help the supercharger's performance, including the SRT Power Chiller and Race Cooldown.
